Detailed Itinerary

• Day 01 - Arrival in Paro
  Arrive at Paro International Airport with breathtaking Himalayan views during landing. After visa formalities, meet your private guide and transfer to COMO Uma Paro. In the afternoon, explore Paro town and visit Dumtseg Lhakhang, a rare chorten-style temple known for symbolic murals. This light exploration allows gentle acclimatization to the altitude. Overnight: COMO Uma Paro.
• Day 02 - Paro to Punakha via Thimphu & Dochula Pass (130 km / 4-5 hrs)
  Drive toward Thimphu, Bhutan's capital along the Wang Chhu River. Visit Buddha Dordenma, National Memorial Chorten, and the Folk Heritage Museum. After lunch, continue to Dochula Pass (3,100m), known for its 108 memorial stupas and panoramic Himalayan views. Descend into Punakha valley and check in at COMO Uma Punakha. Overnight: COMO Uma Punakha.
• Day 03 - Explore the Golden Punakha Valley
  Begin with a countryside walk through rice fields to Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten, offering sweeping valley views. Visit Punakha Dzong located at the confluence of the Mo Chhu and Pho Chhu rivers, renowned for intricate carvings and architecture. Later walk to Chimi Lhakhang, the fertility temple associated with the Divine Madman. Overnight: COMO Uma Punakha.
• Day 04 - Punakha to Paro (130 km / 4-5 hrs)
  Drive back over Dochula Pass for another opportunity to view the Himalayan range. En route visit Tachhog Lhakhang, accessed via a traditional iron chain bridge over the Paro River. Return to COMO Uma Paro. The afternoon is at leisure with optional spa, meditation, or archery experiences. Overnight: COMO Uma Paro.
• Day 05 - Hike to Paro Taktsang (Tiger's Nest)
  After breakfast, embark on a 6-8 hour moderate hike to Paro Taktsang Monastery, perched dramatically at 3,120 meters and 900 meters above the valley floor. According to legend, Guru Rinpoche meditated here in the 8th century after arriving on the back of a tigress. After descending, visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan's oldest temples dating to the 7th century. Overnight: COMO Uma Paro.
• Day 06 - Departure
  Transfer to Paro International Airport according to your flight schedule. Assistance with departure formalities and farewell.
