This 12-day journey blends Bhutan's iconic cultural landmarks with a high-altitude adventure to Laya for the Royal Highland Festival. From the dramatic Tiger's Nest Monastery in Paro to remote Himalayan valleys, sacred temples, alpine passes, and vibrant festivals, this experience offers a perfect balance of culture, spirituality, and wilderness exploration.

Detailed Itinerary 

• Day 1: Arrive in Paro. Visit Ta Dzong (National Museum) and Rinpung Dzong. Evening at leisure.
• Day 2: Hike to Tiger's Nest Monastery (Paro Taktsang). Optional hot stone bath. Overnight in Paro.
• Day 3: Drive to Thimphu. Visit National Memorial Chorten, Buddha Dordenma, Motithang Takin Preserve, Zorig            Chusum, and Tashichho Dzong.
• Day 4: Thimphu to Gasa via Dochula Pass and Punakha Dzong. Overnight camping in Gasa.
• Day 5: Drive to Taktsemakha and hike to Laya (3,800m). Overnight camping in Laya.
• Day 6: Attend Royal Highland Festival in Laya. Cultural performances, yak parades, and local experiences.
• Day 7: Hike back and drive to Punakha. Visit Gasa Dzong and hot springs. Overnight in Punakha.
• Day 8: Punakha to Bumthang via Pelela Pass and Trongsa Dzong. Overnight in Bumthang.
• Day 9: Explore Jakar Valley including Kenchosum, Tamshing, Kurjey, and Jambay Lhakhang.
• Day 10: Drive to Phobjikha Valley. Visit Gangtey Monastery and Black-Necked Crane Centre.
• Day 11: Return to Paro via Dochula Pass. Visit Ta Dzong and Rinpung Dzong.
• Day 12: Transfer to Paro International Airport for departure.
