The Punakha Dromchhoe commemorates Bhutan's 17th-century victory over Tibetan invaders and honors Zhabdrung Ngawang Namgyal, the unifier of Bhutan. • Day 01 - Arrival in Paro & Transfer to Thimphu
  Your journey begins with a spectacular flight into Paro, where on clear days the Himalayan peaks create a dramatic welcome. Upon arrival, your guide greets you and escorts you on a scenic drive to Thimphu, Bhutan's charming capital. After checking in, visit the towering Buddha Dordenma statue before enjoying a gentle forest hike from Kuensel Phodrang. In the evening, explore Tashichho Dzong, the seat of Bhutan's government and monastic body. A welcome dinner introduces you to Bhutanese hospitality.
• Day 02 - Discovering Thimphu
  Today unfolds with visits to Thimphu's cultural landmarks, including the Memorial Chorten, Motithang Takin Preserve, National Library, Folk Heritage Museum, and the traditional Paper Factory and Weaving Center. The day concludes with a traditional farmhouse dinner and optional hot stone bath, offering an authentic taste of Bhutanese rural life.
• Day 03 - Thimphu to Punakha via Dochula Pass
  After breakfast, journey eastward over Dochula Pass (3,150m), where 108 chortens stand against panoramic Himalayan views. Descend into the fertile Punakha Valley and visit Chhimi Lhakhang, the Temple of Fertility. Later, explore the magnificent Punakha Dzong, dramatically
  located at the confluence of two rivers. Evening at leisure in the serene valley.
• Day 04 - Punakha Tshechu & Dromchhoe Festival
  Today is devoted entirely to experiencing the Punakha Festival. At Punakha Dzong, witness sacred masked dances (Cham) performed by monks and laymen in elaborate costumes. The dances invoke protective deities and are believed to bring peace, prosperity, and good fortune. The reenactment of historic battles during Dromchhoe reflects Bhutan's unity and resilience. The atmosphere is vibrant, spiritual, and deeply moving.
• Day 05 - Punakha to Paro
  Drive back toward Paro via Dochula Pass, pausing for photographs of the Himalayan range. Visit Tachogang Lhakhang, founded by the saint Thangtong Gyalpo, and cross the traditional iron chain bridge. In Paro, explore the National Museum and Rinpung Dzong before enjoying an evening stroll through the picturesque valley town.
• Day 06 - Hike to Tiger's Nest Monastery
  An early start takes you to Bhutan's most iconic site, Paro Taktshang (Tiger's Nest). The hike winds through pine forests adorned with prayer flags and offers breathtaking views. Perched dramatically on a cliff 900 meters above the valley, the monastery is one of Bhutan's most sacred sites. After returning, visit Drukgyel Dzong ruins and Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan's oldest temples.
• Day 07 - Departure
